What program(s) do you use for Art and Animation?
FireAlpaca (Free and Not Pirated)
Wick Editor (Free and Not Pirated and Open-Source)
Flash 8 and CS5 (Pirated)
Adobe Illustrator CS5 (Pirated)
Photoshop CS5 (Pirated)
Blender (Open-Source)
DaVinci Reslove (Its not animation related but at least it has the graph editor and I might be planning to edit for Mr. Enter) (I have been learning a lot from this software and my editing is almost Turkey Tom quality)
and more..
@Doggonnys And, Yes.. It is both sad and infuriating to see that one of your influences became a total arsehole. But, You have to always separate art from artist.
@mtndewfan123 yeah
True
@Doggonnys Charlie Downs is in doubt one of the best animators. He was remembered by Falph Bakshi and Floyd Norman. He was also considered a master animator by Richard Williams, and surprisingly I own The Animator's Survival Kit which is a great book by Williams when you're starting out in animation.
@doggonnys *Ralph Bakshi

Influences?

You can see them in bio. But.. There is more like..
Glenn Kennedy (Strangely due to his signature kick dance animations and he also animated the Wacky World of Tex Avery intro by recognizing his kick dance animation for a split second and his wonky animation style)
Ralph Bakshi (Arguably one of the best influences)
Yoshinobu Michihata (He animated for Akira and Clayface from Batman)
Ken Harris
Jon McClenahan (founder of startoons international)
John K. (before he was exposed for being a total EDP445)
Stephen Silver
Brad BIrd
Jean Yves-Raimbaud (a great influence for Xilam fans)
and a lot..
